The Shelby Cobra Evolution is a testament to Carroll Shelby’s ability to blend British Handling with American Muscle. The Cobra Impact on the automotive industry is undeniable, as it sets the standard for performance sports cars in the 60’s. That said evolution, is never ending.
Factory Five Racing, long known as the GOLD STANDARD in the manufacturing of Roadster (Cobra Replica) Kit Cars demonstrating time and time again its commitment to Customer Satisfaction, Innovative Design and Product Performance. Factory Fives MK5 Roadster represents a notable departure from its predecessor MK4. Principally, the MK5 incorporates a rectangular SPACEFRAME and while only 55 Lbs. heavier than the MK4, it delivers an astonishing 400% increase in structural rigidity. Another significant advantage of the SPACEFRAME is a more spacious cockpit, accommodating drivers up to 6’ 5” tall and 330 Lbs.
For these reasons, Acumen Motorsport announces its Factory Five Roadster Build Program. This effort is designed to fill the void for those enthusiasts who for one reason of another…ie: don’t have the time, equipment, facility or capability to complete the build themselves…..but still want to DESIGN THEIR OWN DREAM CAR!
Our Fee: $18,000
- We consult on configuring your Dream Car.
- We order – 2 to 3 Months to Deliver.
- We manage the order, scheduling and receiving process, confirm delivery of parts insuring a complete and correct receipt of all build components.
- We build – 4 to 5 months.
- We work with you and the State on surveying the final product.
- Finally – the Key Handoff Ceremony.
